What we wore to work.
Nicole expands into shoes!
Looks like we're about to see a lot more of Nicole Richie come next spring. According to WWD, the young reality television star just inked a "multiproduct, multiyear licensing agreement with San Jose, Calif.-based Creative Brands Group and manufacturers Rick and Brian Cytrynbaum — who own multiple brands including Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans. Her debut House of Harlow 1960 lifestyle line, which will bow in spring '10, will include about 20 footwear styles, as well as a small assortment of apparel, bags, sunglasses, belts and other small accessories. source.
ps. how hot is Nicole in this pic? rockin Balenciaga boots and Chanel sunglasses... Vanessa Traina (daughter of romance novelist Danielle Steele) is wearing a Balenciaga clutch and AMAZZING Balmain booties.

SATC Dress revamped
We all know the Vivienne Westwood wedding dress from the Sex and the City: The Movie that Carrie gets stood up in. Now the dress has been rescaled in a shorter version available on Net-a-Porter. The dress is already sold out, but I am sure an e-mail to Ms Massenet, founder of NaP, could change that. Although if I was getting married I wouldn't settle for the commercial version.

Gisele Bundchen covers Vanity Fair
Gisele Bundchen is on the cover of the May 2009 Vanity Fair issue.
Gisele on her face and figure.
“This is just a shell”—and the shell is going to be changing. You’re going to be 30; you’re going to be 50. That’s why I think it’s important to focus on what matters. Everyone has talents—you’ve just got to find them—and everyone has flaws. Wishing to be something you’re not is the biggest recipe for a sad life. All of us are special. Embrace all that you are! Treat yourself as the special being you are!“All you have to have is a dream, and then you make it happen,” she says.

Rachel Zoe Decadestwo Charity Benefit
Last night we attended the Rachel Zoe Decadestwo Charity Benefit for Ovarian Cancer. Let us tell you it was AMAZING!!! The entire night was a surreal experience and we were on cloud nine the entire time. It was super inspirational to be in a room filled with such talented and influential people in the fashion industry. Every person in the room was dressed to impress. When we worked up the courage to ask Taylor for a picture she was kind enough to oblige(not to mention she was wearing the stunning LOUB'S "CARNAVAL" shoe). We then spoke with Brad, who is incredibly kind and super funny (not that we expected any different from him) and we discussed Paris Fashion Week and he said that Galliano was his favorite. The night was complete with Rodge, Nicole Richie (YSL shoes and Hermes scarf), Courtney Love, Perry Reeves, and Zoe of course (wearing vintage Norma Kamali jumpsuit, vuitton shoes, and a sick necklace)
Yotam Solomon: The Next Big Thing
At the Rachel Zoe Charity Benefit last night we met Yotam Solomon who just showed at LA Fashion Week and everyone is buzzing about it. He is up and coming and definitely someone to look out for! Click here to check out his AMAZING collection (we are in lovee with the white gladiator heel). Below, Niki Shadrow is rockin a shoe from his latest collection.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
Tomorrow, Erin Wasson is having a garage sale at her boyfriend's Venice Beach store Rogue Status because her style "has gotten a lot simpler and now that I’m designing, I want to wear my own stuff." She promises pieces from Balenciaga, Givenchy, Burberry, and Chanel and Marc Jacobs, all under $100, with most hovering around $20 (more details here). Speaking of her RVCA line, she's already work on the Spring 2010 collection, with her pit bull, Cream, as inspiration — "The whole color combo is based on Cream" — so think mauve, pink, champagne, light brown, and bronze.

The fact that I have to work tomorrow and miss something like this literally makes me want to throw myself down the escalator at south coast plaza. I can't even believe the deals that will be at this sale (not to mention, it was owned by Erin Wasson... ugh hello? done.) Will someone please go and report back? Thanks!!

Early Sprouse
Stephen Sprouse is getting a lot of attention this year- most notably as a result of Marc Jacobs’ resurrection of Sprouse’s logo for Louis Vuitton. Things were not always so green for the late artist, however.
Back in 1991, he moved into the Chateau Marmont for a month, but when he checked out he didn’t have the money to pay the bill. Andre Balzas agreed to accept designs for apparel for the hotel in exchange.
Recently someone was going through the attic and found the 6 original sketches, all signed and dated. This sounds almost too good to be true, but we’ll take it.Read more: "Stylecaster : Original Sprouse Sketches Elizabeth Monson" -

Brian Atwood heats it up!
Brian Atwood has introduced his Spring ad's, and they are realllyy steamy. He cast 55 year old Rene Russo and Jon Kortajarena (currently Tom Ford's campaing model) to model the shoes. I'm a big fan of Atwood (he is creative director at Bally and is dating Nate Berkus) However, it does seem a bit too sexy. Throw in some ripped denim and its an Abercrombie and Fitch ad.
